Sore, sleepy and happy as hell

I have to say that I am touched that there are still bands out there that have made it big and still care for their fans. I went a little bit early to the Midnight Rodeo in Amarillo, hoping to get a good spot in the font row of the crowd. Needless to say I got it. But before we even got in the club, I got to talking indie cred with the other concert-goers and before long we saw the bands getting their equipment. I went over and said a quick hello to the singer from Jet Black Stare and got a nod back. Soon after I started talking to the Rock 108 announcer and we were talking about the radio station business when he decided to start the meet and greet for Shinedown and it was very nice getting to meet and talk with the band members. I got a signed poster and a picture with them and they were off to set up. Finally got into the club and gave three ticketless patrons a free ride to the concert because I was on the list. Then the real action started. Jet Black Stare played first and they really surprised me. I’ve never listened to them but they are great mellow(er) rock for you guys. I highly recommend checking them out. The same goes for Endeverafter. They are much less mellow and much more speed-metalesque for you harder fans out there. While Shinedown was setting p I got to chat with the guys from Jet Black Stare and asked when they’d be back and they said soon, o good news there. Shinedown rocked out even harder than I had hoped and they put on a great live show. I really hope y’all support them in the future. They really deserve it. After they were done I met the guys from Endeverafter and got them to sign my Marlboro pack. Talked to them for a little while, told them I was a photographer and they said they’d check my stuff out when they got on the road. And finally I got to meet Shinedown face-to-face. ^_^ I thanked all the members and shook their hands and wished them good luck and I hope to see them agains. XD Anyways, I am very pleased with how they all did and wish them all great success in the future. I highly recommend them all to be checked out by you folks.
